  • Must be Primary Account Holder (not authorized user)
  • Access to T-Life app or T-Mobile.com account
  • Port Out Protection must be disabled
  • Must be on T-Mobile network (Wi-Fi off)
  • Account PIN/Passcode (6-15 non-sequential digits)

Two Ways to Get Your T-Mobile Port Out PIN

T-Life Mobile App (Fastest & Most Reliable)
  1. Download and open the T-Life app (or T-Mobile app)
  2. Sign in as the Primary Account Holder
  3. Tap the Manage tab at the bottom
  4. Near the top, tap See plans >
  5. Choose your number with the dropdown box at the top
  6. Tap Line Settings near the bottom
  7. Choose Request a transfer PIN
  8. Your 6-digit Temporary Port Out PIN will be displayed
✅ Recommended: This method is fastest and works directly from your phone. Make sure Wi-Fi is off and you're on T-Mobile network.

  1. Go to T-Mobile.com and sign in
  2. Click My Account or your name (top right)
  3. Select My Profile from the menu
  4. Choose Profile Settings
  5. Select Line Settings
  6. Click Request a transfer PIN
  7. Select Get a transfer PIN
  8. Follow on-screen directions to generate your TPOP

⚠️ Important Things to Know

PIN Expiration: Your Temporary Port Out PIN is only valid for 7 days. Complete your transfer quickly after generation.
Network Requirement: You must be on T-Mobile network with Wi-Fi turned off when requesting your PIN. Otherwise you'll get an error message.
